Terms and Conditions for Creative Digital Lab Introduction Welcome to Creative Digital Lab, a premier studio operated by Startup Croydon. By accessing and using our studio facilities, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
Use of Equipment and Facilities
● Access and Use: Users are granted access to the studio and its equipment during the booked session times only. Users must ensure that their use of the studio
does not disturb other occupants of the building.
● Equipment Handling: Users must handle all studio equipment with care. Any loss or damage to the equipment or facilities due to negligence or misuse will be
charged to the user at the cost of repair or replacement.
● Setup and Takedown: Users are responsible for the setup and takedown of any equipment used within their booked time. Additional fees may apply if extended
setup or takedown time is required.
Booking, Cancellation, and Re-booking
Booking Confirmation
● All bookings must be confirmed by a deposit or full payment in advance. The studio reserves the right to refuse entry if full payment has not been received.
Cancellation Policy
● More than 72 Hours: Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the booked
session are eligible for a full refund.
● Within 72 Hours: Cancellations made within 72 hours of the booked session are eligible for a 50% refund.
● Within 48 Hours: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the booked session are non-refundable.Re-booking Policy
● More than 72 Hours: Re-bookings made more than 72 hours before the originally booked session are free of charge.
● Within 72 Hours: Re-bookings made within 72 hours of the originally booked session are subject to a 10% surcharge of the original booking fee.
● Within 48 Hours: Re-bookings made within 48 hours of the originally booked session are subject to a 25% surcharge of the original booking fee.
Re-bookings are subject to availability and must be made within a certain timeframe from the original booking date, as determined by the studio. Any difference in booking
fees will be charged accordingly.
Studio Conduct
● Tidiness: Users must leave the studio in a clean and tidy condition. Additional cleaning fees may be charged if the studio requires excessive cleaning after use.
● Noise Levels: Users must manage noise levels to ensure they do not disrupt other tenants in the building.
● Conduct: Users must conduct themselves professionally at all times. The studio reserves the right to terminate the session without refund if users behave in a
manner deemed inappropriate or unsafe.
Damage and Theft of Equipment
● Responsibility for Damage: Users are responsible for any damage to Creative Digital Lab equipment or facilities that occurs during their booking period due to
their actions, negligence, or misuse. Upon discovery of any damage, the user must immediately report it to the studio management. The cost of repairing or
replacing the damaged equipment, as well as any associated downtime costs, will be charged to the user responsible for the damage.
● Theft of Equipment: Users are responsible for securing the studio and all equipment during their booking period. In the case of theft of any equipment
from the studio during a user's booking period, the user must immediately report the incident to the studio management and local law enforcement authorities.The user may be held liable for the replacement cost of the stolen items if the theft occurred due to negligence or failure to secure the studio properly.
● Assessment of Damage or Theft: The studio reserves the right to assess the condition of all equipment before and after each booking. Users are encouraged
to inspect the equipment at the beginning of their session and report any pre-existing damage to avoid wrongful liability.
● Payment for Damages or Theft: Any charges for repairs, replacements, or other liabilities arising from damage or theft during a user's booking period must be
paid by the user within a specified timeframe from the date of invoice. Failure to pay such charges may result in legal action and will prohibit the user from future
bookings at Creative Digital Lab.
● Insurance Claims: Users are encouraged to have their own insurance policy to
cover potential liabilities for damage or theft. In cases where a user's insurance
policy is applicable, the user agrees to cooperate fully with the insurance claims
process and ensure that Creative Digital Lab is compensated for any losses or
damages.
Liability and Insurance
● User Liability: Users are solely responsible for their personal property and
equipment while on the premises. The studio shall not be liable for any loss,
damage, theft, or destruction of personal property.
● Insurance: Users are encouraged to carry their own insurance to cover personal
equipment and liability. The studio is not responsible for insuring user
equipment.
General Provisions
● Amendments: These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time.
The studio will provide reasonable notice of any changes.
● Governing Law: These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance
with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the studio operates.● Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms
shall be resolved through mediation, with arbitration as a final resort if mediation
fails.
CCTV
CCTV is in operation across all of our facilities.
Acceptance of Terms
By booking a session at Creative Digital Lab, users acknowledge they have read,
understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
